NYFW SS16 Frame Denim – Twenty6

Frame Denim’s SS16 collection paid homage to the Côte D’Azur’s most fabulous time, the 1970s. With Brigitte Bardot hair and the piéce de résistance, the  poncho, the references transported us back to a golden age. The easy, breezy, beautiful models were doused in both colours of the Mediterranean and nautical sailor stripes.

The debut of Frame Denim’s capsule swimwear line – accessorised with oversize beach bags – promoted the ambiance of their summer story. The simple separates of this collection played off Frame Denim’s ideology of achieving effortless perfection, whilst the subtle hardware highlighted their attention to detail.

With soft hair pushed back by matching headbands and subtle dewy make-up, the undertones of the show truly embraced the romanticism of the Riviera. The presentation merged together visions of the past with a denim dream of the future – one that’s about simplicity, summer shades and #girlsinFRAME.
