I had a chance to chat with Ophira and Tali about their upcoming course, overall astrological advice and what’s to come for 2019!

What inspired you to create this specific course?

One of THE #1 topics our readers and clients ask us about is love – no matter their age, geographic location, gender. And astrology is the only thing we’ve found that demystifies love quickly for people.

What do you think will be the most difficult lesson will be for people taking the course and how do you suggest they push through?

The course is designed to NOT make people feel overwhelmed – we really broke things down into a system. But the compatibility lesson may bring things up for people at first because there is no “magic formula.” Any 2 charts will have parts that are easy and others that are a challenge. But the magic here is that we’ll teach people HOW to navigate those harder dynamics, which is what will really give them the tools to make a relationship successful.

Who do you suggest take the course? What kind of mind space do they need to be in? 

We designed it for singles and couples – whether newly dating or in a relationship. But it’s for people who want to write the rules of their own relationships – they’re tired of hearing outdated scripts for romance and relating that no longer work. And why would they? They were made up during a completely different time in history when people’s lifestyles were totally different. Now we have all these new choices – we can design our lives to be any way we want. So why wouldn’t we want to script our relationships to fit our modern lives and world? Astrology gives you the map for doing that – and that’s what we’ll teach in this course.

Are there signs that are consistently compatible or should one consider their chart as a whole when looking for ‘the one’?

There are 7 possible angles, or aspects, between any 2 signs that create a unique dynamic between them (http://astrostyle.com/cosmic-compatibility-love-horoscopes/) – some are smooth and some are more challenging. For example, a fire sign (Aries, Leo or Sagittarius) might have an easier time with another fire sign. But easy isn’t always good because we can get lazy and take each other for granted. Sometimes, differences make life more interesting and keep the relationship spicy.

Is it common for someone to (coincidentally) only date one sign or keep one to two signs in their inner circle?

Definitely! We hear about it all the time. When that happens, it usually means you have something to learn from that sign. Maybe they have traits you need to work to cultivate in yourself.

There’s been a lot of talk about eclipses, full moons, retrogrades, etc., are any of these cosmic moments better or worse for finding love or mending a relationship?

Absolutely! In astrology, timing is everything. New moons are great for starting things and full moons for completing and/or manifesting the results. Retrogrades are more reflection/review periods, better for correcting course than starting anything new. A retrograde is great for mending a relationship – and Venus, the love planet, is retrograde from October 5 to November 16, so we’re all in that now!

Are there any signs that have a more difficult time finding love than others? Any signs that fall in love too quickly?

Not necessarily – every sign has its challenges. Let’s just say that some signs SEEM to have an easier time because they impulsively rush into love (fire signs – Aries, Leo, Sagittarius and air signs – Gemini, Libra, Aquarius)…but they might also rush out just as quickly. Whereas the water (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces) and earth signs (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn) might take their time finding people but once they’re in, they’re in!

With Venus shifting out of retrograde and Mercury shifting in, what can we expect in our love and relation?

Whew! It’s been a year of retrogrades – and both of the love planets have gone in reverse this year. Mars was retrograde from June 26 to August 27, which brought up old frustrations, jealousies, anger…and attractions. We got a month to breathe before Venus, the planet of harmony, love and compassion went retrograde (www.astrostyle.com/venus-retrograde-2018), which has brought back exes (and dreams of exes, we’ve been hearing!) or old conflicts. So whatever came up from those retrogrades will have to be “talked out” when communication planet Mercury goes retrograde in outspoken, honest-to-a-fault Sagittarius for three weeks on November 16.

Are there any other notable cosmic changes for 2018?

Yes! A big one on November 8, when Jupiter, the planet of luck and expansion, will return to its native sign of Sagittarius. Jupiter’s been in Scorpio since October 2017, which has brought up a LOT of hidden issues around sex, power, and money – including the #MeToo movement, which started right when Jupiter took this plunge (http://astrostyle.com/jupiter-in-scorpio-2017/). Now, Jupiter will go into Sagittarius and we’ll come out of the intensity, hopefully becoming more cooperative and global once again.

What’s in the stars for 2019?

So much – but the big news is a Capricorn extravaganza! Three eclipses and three planets will travel through the sign that rules business, governments, hierarchy and the patriarchy. We can expect a lot more shakeups of “the system” and polarizing of power structures…and hopefully some progress in that area at last.
